The tournament is played at the Sabaduri Hills hotel in the Sabaduri forest: you stay where you play. Hotel prices are as in the regulations, VAT 18 % included; rooms include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Your place in the draw is confirmed once the fee is paid. How to pay — we tell you when the entry opens.

Draw

We email the draw and match times the day before the tournament.

Tournament conditions

Events

  • Doubles only: MD — men's doubles, WD — women's doubles, XD — mixed doubles
  • At most two events per player
  • Two categories: Amateur — players without ranking points in any federation; Pro — players with ranking points or of that level
  • 4 to 16 pairs per event. With fewer than 4 pairs the event is cancelled and the fee is refunded

Format

  • Groups of up to 4 pairs by draw; the top two pairs of each group go on to the knockout stage. A third-place match in every event
  • An event with 6 pairs or fewer is played as a round robin
  • Amateur: best of three games to 15 points; Pro: best of three games to 21 points
  • Semi-finals and finals are umpired
  • Shuttles: Amateur — Yonex Mavis 350 (medium speed), Pro — Yonex Mavis 2000
  • Ceiling height in the hall: 6.7 m

Players

  • Age: Amateur 18+, Pro from 14 (a minor needs the consent of a legal representative)
  • The player form: first and last name in Latin letters, date of birth, gender, document number (passport or ID card), email and a photo of the document
  • At entry you confirm you are fit to play and play at your own risk
  • Fee: 150 ₾ per pair per event (75 ₾ per player). No partner? Enter on your own
  • No withdrawal after registration. The fee is refunded if the event is cancelled (by bank transfer within 3 business days after the tournament) or if your pair is still incomplete when registration closes. No refund on disqualification
  • A player may be replaced only with the consent of the Chief Referee and the organizer, and only before the draw
  • Foreign nationals need the insurance required by Georgian law

  • Draw — 17 November at 18:00, its results — by 18 November 18:00

Clothing and equipment

  • Non-marking sports shoes and sportswear; partners wear shirts of the same colour (Pro: surname and initials in Latin letters on the back)
