MAVIS 350 is the Yonex nylon practice shuttlecock, built on a natural cork base with a nylon skirt. Yonex states that close-to-feather flight performance combined with four to five times more durability than an ordinary nylon shuttlecock makes the MAVIS series the most cost-effective choice for practice sessions. The tube holds 6 shuttlecocks and comes in White or Yellow, in three speeds chosen by hall temperature: green cap Slow (22ºC~33ºC), blue cap Medium (12ºC~23ºC), red cap Fast (0ºC~13ºC). Because the hardness of the nylon skirt changes with temperature, the cap colour is what you match to your conditions — blue-cap Medium is the usual pick for indoor halls.
